The Wasatch Front Table Tennis Club meets every Friday night from 7:00-10:00 p.m. at about 970 West 200 North in Salt Lake City, Utah. The building is a gym with high ceilings and room for ten new Stiga tables. The cost is $2 per night. There is no other membership fee; play is open to players of all skill levels.U.S.A.T.T. approved equipment is used and the new larger 40mm ball. The new U.S.A.T.T. rules apply, so games are to 11 points, which makes them a lot more exciting right from the start. Matches are usually the best four of seven games. The club sponsers the Utah Open Table Tennis Tournament every fall.
A player can wait to play on any of the tables by placing his/her paddle at the table. Any player may remain playing at a table for only two matches if someone is waiting to play at that table. That way, everyone gets an equal chance to play.
